Since the birth of Sigma Lambda Phi Fraternity and Sorority, it has been a tradition that no member had been become a member of the organization without undergoing initiation. It was the whipping bind as brothers and sisters thinking that hardship and sacrifices bond as strong member and at the same time loyal to the group. As the years go by the tradition became abused, it was the mandate of time that changed our tradition, as legal organization we are duty bound to respect and abide the law. We have nothing do but to respect the mandate of the law. After careful study and deliberation of different regional councils most especially in Mindanao Regions it has been agreed to change the approach and methodology of pre-membership which is humanitarian, child friendly and in compliance to the anti-hazing law. This module is an alternative to the traditional initiation rites in which the methodology is based on psychosocial structured activity through games, processing activities. This approach is proven worldwide as the most effective strategy to PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT.  Most of the time children and young people push themselves to the dark side of life because of trauma and the stigma. This manual guides the organization to be more sensitive in handling the recruits and assure the good quality of new member, enlighten new member to be a rational, loyal, critical person as well.
